With hosting online sessions as part of our programming we require parental permission prior to participation. We have provided the details of the online program(s) and request that you complete and sign the permission form. The safety of your child/children is our primary concern. These precautions are being taken for their protection.
All online programming will be hosted through a Southwestern Ontario Youth for Christ licensed account and regularly monitored. Attendance will be taken at the beginning of all online programs. All sessions may be recorded for accountability, protection and teaching purposes, and maintained on a confidential drive.
We have taken precautions in providing our online programming, including no private chat rooms and all webcams must be on to ensure the person’s identity. However, there are additional risks associated with online activity that you are assuming for your child/children by giving them permission to be online. These risks include but are not limited to your child switching screens and viewing age-inappropriate content, online predators securing access to your child’s personal accounts, your child disclosing personal information, cyberbullying, and viruses. We encourage you to have open communication with your child/children about their online activities.
Approval is for all programs including Instagram communication and online Zoom programs.
Upon submission of the registration form staff will send details and links for the program that your child is registered for.
